Project EverGreen

If you have ever taken a look at the homepage of our Terra Bites Lawn Service website, you may have noticed the symbols on the very bottom of the page. The middle symbol in particular is close to our hearts, as we are a veteran owned on service. So today we would like to let you know more about this wonderful project and why we support it.

About Project EverGreen

  • Mission: This national nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization has a wonderful mission to, ” preserve and and hence green spaces in our communities where we live, work and play.”

  • Projects: Within this overall mission, Project EverGreen has an Art of Green Spaces program for students, and its GreenCare and SnowCare for Troops programs.
  • Art of Green Spaces – Students are challenged to share their artistic poster creation skills, in order to explain the importance of green space. These students are broken into four age groups and are awarded prizes for the top posters.
  • GreenCare and SnowCare for Troops – This military-based program asks for volunteers across the country to help military families, that have loved ones serving away from home. They help by giving upkeep and maintenance help to these family’s green spaces around their homes.

We at Terra Bites Lawn Service believe that Project EverGreen is a very wonderful cause for our country. If you know a military family who need help with their lawn due to a loved one serving overseas, contact Project Evergreen online to find local volunteers to help.
